Thistle & Rose was born on a beautiful sunny day when our founder Jenny had been for a leisurely walk around the independent shops in the town and a pit stop for a coffee and cake. It was already a pretty great day, but an impulse stop to smell candles led to a fragrance that represented exactly the relaxed, uplifting feeling she had. From that point on, she knew that she wanted to be able to provide that to others and embarked on the journey to learn the techniques and create her own moments of joy and pleasure for others.

After attending several courses, learning the safety requirements and a lot of trials and testing, Thistle & Rose was created.

Paying tribute to her English and Scottish heritage, the name Thistle & Rose was chosen and so began the journey to producing our first range of fragranced candles, wax melts and room diffusers.

There are plans to expand the range so if there are any scents or designs you’d love to see, then please do get in touch - we’re always keen to hear new ideas. And keep an eye out for limited editions and themed ranges for special occasions!
